Char Nolan
Plant-based chef and advocate for plant-based eating.
Char Nolan graduated cum laude from Temple University with a degree in public health. She has a Certificate in plant-based nutrition from eCornell and a Certification in “plant-based pro cooking” class from Rouxbe Online Cooking School. Completed an 18 credit post-graduate program in social media marketing from UArts in Philadelphia. Most of my work evolves around recipe development and education. Char has a knack for media evaluation and content development with a focus on IG, Twitter, and FB. Plant-based since 2009, I also work with individuals who want to prevent and reverse any co-morbidities related to chronic illness. Char travels to Honduras yearly to provide medical outreach to citizens living in mountainous, remote areas. Her cooking influences are my Italian grandparents, who were chefs. What I know I have learned from them. Their names were Luigi and Maria Montaruli.
She is married to Patrick Connelly, and they have two adult children. They reside in Drexel Hill, PA with their rescued Labradane, Jax. Her favorite vegetables are kale and asparagus. Char’s “ideal dinner,” would include Michelle Obama, Peggy Lee, Gloria Estefan, and Beverly Cleary.
